Central Coast mortgage broker named finalist for three awards in the Better Business Awards 2019

Mint Equity has been named a finalist for the Best Residential Broker, Best Regional Broker and Best Regional Office categories at the Better Business Awards 2019, one of the industry’s premier events for state-based performance.

Zac Peteh won the Best Regional Broker award in 2018 and Mint Equity took out the win for Best Regional Office in 2017, and after a challenging year, this announcement is a wonderful surprise for the owners.

“2018 has seen mortgage brokers in the spotlight due to the Banking Royal Commission, so it’s great to see our hard work recognised by a prestigious award program,” said Director and Finance Broker of Mint Equity, Zac Peteh.

In partnership with NAB, The Adviser Better Business Awards recognises individual and group excellence across 17 categories. Winners from the individual categories are automatically shortlisted for the coveted Broker of the Year Award. In addition, Mint Equity will be in the running for the Editor’s Choice Award, which recognises an individual’s outstanding contribution to the broking industry.

“This past year has been a trying one for the finance industry, but the finalists in this year’s Better Business Awards programme demonstrate that support and excellence is in no short supply in the mortgage and finance industry,” said Annie Kane, the editor of the mortgage titles at Momentum Media.

“The calibre of finalists this year is a testament to the invaluable services that the mortgage and finance industry provides to consumers.

“Mortgage professionals continue to raise the bar, and the finalists for the Better Business Awards 2019 are all examples of the high level of professionalism of the third-party channel.”

Ms Kane added: “On behalf of The Adviser and Momentum Media, I’d like to congratulate all finalists and wish them the best of luck at the Better Business Awards in 2019.”

Leigh Peteh, Director at Mint Equity, said that she was humbled by the nomination.

“Zac’s recognition for his excellent contribution to the Central Coast community reinforces the strength of his expertise and the brand in meeting clients’ needs,” she said.

The winners will be announced at the state award dinners between 14 February and 14 March 2019.
