Mint Equity has been shortlisted as a finalist in six award categories at the 2018 Better Business Awards, hosted by The Adviser, Australia’s top publication for Australian mortgage and finance brokers.

Announced today by The Advisor, the Central Coast mortgage broker secured a place in six award categories;

  • Best Customer Service/Satisfaction (Individual) – Zac Peteh
  • Best Residential Broker – Zac Peteh
  • Best Regional Broker – Zac Peteh
  • Best Customer Service/Satisfaction (Office)
  • Best Independent Office (less than 5 brokers)
  • Best Regional Office

Founded in 2014, Mint Equity, is already a multi award winning mortgage broker, taking out the win for Best Regional Office at the 2017 Better Business Awards, and Best Marketing at the Connective Excellence Awards.

The finalist categories reflect both Mint Equity’s presence on the Central Coast and their focus on customer satisfaction.

“FY17 was our second full year of operation and business from ‘Existing client’ and ‘Client referral’ are in the top 3 lead sources for FY17, producing $17,614,315 in settled loans.” Zac Peteh, Mint Equity’s Director & Finance Broker, said.

“Great customer service isn’t difficult, it’s just hard to find. So, when our clients experience our high service standards, strong product and policy knowledge, and a quality brand, they spread the word.”

Leigh Peteh, Director, Marketing & Communications at Mint Equity, said that she was humbled by the nominations.

“Zac’s 23 years banking experience has served his clients well, but also his work ethic is second to none. He works well into the night and weekends to ensure clients have the information they need, and questions are answered. It’s wonderful to see his efforts recognised by a high calibre industry award program.”

Leigh commented that the Mint Equity brand was key to the office award nominations, “We believe our clients should receive high quality service from a premium brand without it costing them. We’ve designed our brand to radiate professionalism, quality and trust, to stand out from the crowd. A free service doesn’t have to look cheap.”

Now in its fifth year, the annual Better Business Awards recognises individual and group excellence across 18 award categories. Winners in the individual categories will be automatically considered for the coveted Broker of the Year Award. In addition, Zac Peteh will be in the running for the Editor’s Choice Award, which recognises an individual’s outstanding contribution to the broking industry.

“Mint Equity’s recognition for its excellent contribution to the Central Coast community reinforces the strength of the brand in connecting with the community and engaging with its customers,” Zac added.

The industry continues to show that it can keep pace with change and remain committed to delivering quality outcomes for customers.

The winners will be announced at the state award dinners between 15 February and 15 March 2018.
